” || THE GREAT FINAL of the 7th Kromer Festival Biecz ||Fara Biecz filled inside and out – despite the specter of a storm and rain chasing us under the roofs. The voice stuck in the throats of the mayor Mirosław Wędrychowicz and artistic director Paweł Szczepanik, because something so important is about to end ! Among the words addressed to partners, patrons – simply friends of the festival – you can hear fatigue, but also joy. There is also a certain melancholy, because all that is good ends quickly …
However, the last concert of this year’s edition brought a truly spectacular ending at the highest level. Under the artistic direction of the phenomenal Martyna Pastuszka the soprano singer Dorota Szczepańska and – of course – the {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna !. An orchestra that creates one organism, taking the listeners to another world note by note – a phenomenon of the Polish early music scene; a soloist whose acting fervor intensified the sadness and suffering of Ariadne’s torn heart. We can only envy such thunderous applause and calling the artists on stage several times. Thank you !
