Lamento Project

This project is the result of the lockdown time that I used fruitfully and I am very proud of it ! 🙂

The program includes 3 music blocks in which one song flows smoothly into another, swinging between baroque and popular music with a hint of jazz !
So it means that Handel, Monteverdi, Purcell or Stradella will become friends with Sting, Bob Telson, the Mexican folklore song La Llorona or Priscilla’s song from the game The Witcher. There will also appear the title laments : Lamento d’Arianna, Dido’s Lament, Lamento della Ninfa and Miranda’s Lament – a composition by Krzysztof A. Janczak, created especially for us, based on Shakespeare’s „The Tempest”.
The whole creates a story about lamento as a phenomenon that is timeless, heterogeneous, not easy, full of many shades, but ultimately leading to relief !
